Colourful combination of nu-disco and soulful house. For easing of the soul and getting away from it all. The mix supports the assertion of personal uniqueness and big ideas. Also suitable to get away into the nature and to be around beauty...

Caution: Beware of "Un-break my deck"! It is mesmerizing, provocative, seductive, and uncontrollably danceable. In fact you will not be able to stand still when listening to Un-break my deck. Shamelessly put together by Tufan with a complete lack of mercy. Your limbs will disobey you. If you know what I mean.

Mixed on 3 January 2010

I have completed this set in a different manner then my previous sets. I wanted to create a fluent mix of different styles so that you wouldn’t get caught up in a single mode. That’s why I put some deep, jazzy, funky, disco tunes together with each peace 3 minutes approx. Some of the songs have been in my archive for more than 3,4 years and some brand new, each having a good shelf life. I have put a small part of an interesting interview of Michael Tsarion about “Numerology” and used in various parts of the set which I think gives a mystic, esoteric feeling making you think about the meanings of the numbers and bring back to music smoothly.

The album cover is a brilliant work of Jason Lincoln Jeffers. I have seen much interest in the album cover while I was working on it, so I want to mention briefly my understanding of it. As many of you already know the painting represents Da Vinci’s famous artwork having many meanings from golden ratio to sacred geometries of the nature where as the butterfly and the women emphasize the transformation, freedom and ascension as well as creative energies of the secred feminine. I agree with Jason that there is plenty of evidence that the ancient world worshipped the goddess and that the cultures were matriarchal before the times where the goddess energy was oppressed by various governments and religious institutions for thousands of years. I also believe that humanity is shifting away from the violent, narcissistic, egoic mind, and is finaly embracing the selfless, protective and creative energies of the secred feminine. I have come up with the album name while I was trying to put something positive, pure, divine, and cosmic. While we are passing through this beautiful time of recreation of ourselfs, we witness an increasing change of magnetic fields not only on our world, also in other planets in the solar system taking this shift on a galactic level.

I consider this album as my best work since I brought up the idea of this website and Forward PlayGround. That’s why I will make this approach the essence of the Magnetized series. I hope you enjoy listening to it and bring back your valuable feedbacks.
